UK based Music Instrument Professional's (MI Pro) annual retail survey is in and for the second year in a row the Epiphone Les Paul tops the list of best selling guitars under £500 (approx $720 USD) with 19% of the vote. Rounding out the top 5 were the Fender Standard Stratocaster 14%,Encore 11%, Squier Affinity Strat 10%, and Vintage V100 6%. The Ibanez RG300 and Yamaha Pacifica received honourable mentions.
The survey was accomplished by asking a broad sweep of questions to 100 randomly selected stores. For further results, check out the offical poll results.
