Monoprice MonoWIN!!! What I predicted has been according to my design! (Read in Emp Palpatine's creaky voice...) MP has offered me a refund for the amp, (postage yet to be confirmed, but it looks LIKE UPS claimed responsibility for the damage! So I SHOULD get postage refund as well.) You know WHAT that means? FREE amp! They DON'T want it back! Brand new amp totally FREE! As FRUGAL as it gets. So now it's worth it for me to replace input transformer, replace the speaker and build a new cabinet out of it from SOLID wood, instead of particle board/mdf!  SHOULD be a decent little amp! What happened I think was that carton got stacked up with other boxes on top of it, and the weight on top compressed it too much, and as there was NO foam in the inner box, the strain cracked the front panel on the amp!
